Au Pair Program information
Au pair program is a mix of housework and nannie
work. Candidates can enrol in our programs through an agent or direct
on our website. It is a simple process and should take moments to
be completed, and only a few days for Au Pair House to find the
best match for your requests.
Au Pair House has 2 different programs called the Dolphin and Mermaid
Packages, which include different things. However they both cover
3 months of accommodation and meals, transfer, booklets of duties
and responsibilities and much more!
Both the mermaid and dolphin programs have the features outlined
below:
-
Excellent accommodation in a great location.
-
Maximum 4 hours a day, only 5 days a week,
weekends off. All meals for 7 days a week.
-
The work and the family profile will be
described to the au pair before payment and commencement, so
the au pair will know exactly what is expected, and when to
start and finish everyday.
-
The families associated with the programs
are carefully selected, assessed and they all live in very nice
homes and close to shops, transport, and the beach. All families
have the “Blue card”- Non-criminal records.
-
Assistance during the program duration.
-
Au pairs need basic English only.
-
The au pairs can find a paid job, travel,
study or just relax at home in their free time.
Please note : holders of an Australian student
visa are only permitted to work for 20 hours a week; and must only
commence work in Australia after they have acquired "work permission"
upon arrival and commencement of the course associated with their
student visa. This restriction does not apply to those holding a
"working holiday visa".
Au pairs don’t need any experience or qualifications
to apply for this kind of accommodation and au pair program.
Families are happy to have friendly help in the house, and also
glad to be participating in a cultural exchange program.
